The board is responsible
- to inspect the applications for registry on the physiotherapists and physiotherapy archive
- to issue the annual license to practice the physiotherapist profession.
Physiotherapist profession
Ιs registered in Cyprus with the Physiotherapists Registry Law, 140/1989 to 2005, which provides registration to archive and an annual license to practice the profession. The authority in charge is the Ministry of Health and the officer is the Physiotherapists’ Superintendent, who keeps the Physiotherapist registry and issues the registration certificate.
