Physiotherapy – Rehabilitation Center Registration
According to the current law, about registration of Physiotherapists and related issues140/89-2005, is an obligation of physiotherapists and health center owners to register and obtain a license as registered physiotherapy center in the Registry of the Ministry of Health.
All physiotherapists who are owners of private Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation center offering services such as physiotherapy are kindly requested to apply to the Registrar of of Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy, Ministry of Health. All physiotherapists who are employees in private establishments must inform their employers for the above requirement and to promptly submit the appropriate application to the Ministry of Health.
According to the above legislation, the director of the physiotherapy can only be a registered physiotherapist in the Registry of Ministry of Health.
The application should be submitted by the physiotherapist who is also the managing director of the physiotherapy center and by law responsible.
The register application and renewal fee of a physiotherapy center:
- €85
- The bank account of the Registry Council which the deposit must be made is:
- Bank of Cyprus. Account No.: 0125-01-028876-00

- The application to register on the physiotherapy archive must necessarily come with the additional questionnaire
Please note that none physical therapy center is excluded (eg, roofing homes, charities, private hospitals and rehabilitation centers) of the above obligation, except state hospitals.
